Default Possible Sale - 850 T5

Hi All,

just wondering what my car might be worth. I always promised the guy that I bought it from 3yrs ago that he would have first refusal but not sure how much it is worth. Details:

Service History (never got full from previous owner)
175,000miles
MOT till May 2017
All new tyres (plus 4 spare winter tryes on T5 rims)
Change oil every 7,000miles
Just had new radiator and battery
Cambelt not due for another 30k miles approx.

Badpoints:
Passenger side panel next to wheel is beginning to bubble
Glovebox is stuck (common problem)
thruster bearings in clutch squeek (been like this since i had it)
Front bumper is tatty
Body work few scratches and scrapes

Haven't got a bad word to say about this car! love it and still pulls well. I've had it for 3 years and looked after it. Just need something more fuel efficient for my job.

I bought it for £850 nearly 4 years ago.

p.s. I have not told my wife that I am thinking of selling it as she loves it and wouldn't want to see it go.

Thanks for your help.

You don't mention if it's an Auto or manual transmission or if it's an estate or saloon.

Manual estates fetch the strongest money. Auto saloons the weakest.

Glwts, cheers, Morgan

Then it's worth at least what you paid for it. Possibly a bit more - up-to about £1200 on the open market if you find the right buyer & the condition is fair.

Manual T5 estates are getting pretty thin on the ground so values are rising.
