V70 T5 auto box
Advice saught
1997 with FVSH currently 74K Poor power transfer at low speeds from cold. Fine after three or four miles. Main agents have found no faults ! Any ideas? |

You don't mean that it takes ages to shift do you? And even if you don't accelerate faster than normal it holds the revs higher than you would expect in each gear?
If you do this is a built in function of the electronic automatic box which aids in warming up the car as fast as possible. If not that the only other cheap thing to do is to have the fluid flushed (around £50 to do it yourself, anything up to £100 at the dealers) and see if that helps. |
