The car spec is now as follows:

Volvo 850r manual estate 160k
2.3l, 16t turbo
white injectors
M56L gearbox (replacement for M59) w/R clutch
Me7 exhaust manifold
Free flowing throttle body (standard size, but no plastic inserts on butterfly)
Standard downpipe & cat
Stainless steel 2.5" cat back exhaust
302 brake upgrade on front (new O.E. Discs & plod pads)
braided brake hoses front & rear
Standard R map (nominal 250 bhp)
Standard R front suspension & nivomats to rear (covered approx 120k)
Standard R interior inc original radio ( found a spare w/code)
Wooden gear nob - original grey leather one long gone
2keys & fobs - fully working alarm

Oil change (magnatec 10w/40 semi-synthetic), new o.e. filters & spark plugs all In the last 1500 miles. 11 months MOT.

File full of receipts showing previous owners maintainance & parts spend.

Essentially the car is standard with a few practical upgrades. Ready for new owner to either maintain as standard spec or modify to their own tastes.

I'll complete the detailing over the weekend & post photos early next week.

Cheers, morgan

Shins
hope this message finds you in good form and you have finally sold your little beauty ?

thanx for all your advice re detailing. this morning I spent a couple of gentle hours practising with the clay bar, DA and some sonax cutmax on the black T5 and am blown away by the quality of finish achieved ! waiting for advice for how best to deal with deeper / thicker scratches but in time we shall get there.

so impressed that if I have the time I am considering taking off the ****ty lacquer which has peeled away on roof and bonnet as with so many cars in the pre 2000 era - and yes Harston motors did charge me £350 for supaguard as well a mere 18 years ago !!

all the best

Paul

No - I withdrew it - decided to dry store. It's a good car & I couldn't find the right buyer.
