  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Really need full info, on how to get it up and running on windows 8.1, don't have a spare operating system or anything.
Also haven't got a clue what I need to do?

One really nice thing about this in Win 7 is the free virtual machine and xp mode which lets you run xp as a clean install within W7. Runs really well.

It might just be worth going back to W7 just for this ..... (you can swap your W8 licence for a W7 one).

Alternatively, I think (but cannot be 100%), that you can install VM ware in W8 then install a copy of xp in it (you need a copy of xp, of course).

I've installed VMware in W8 and it works fine.

VIDA 2014D is perfectly loaded on Win 7 (32 bit I have tried) without messing around virtual machine. Update your VIDA and it goes fine
