Space saver spare wheel for 850
Hi,
I have had a gas conversion fitted to my 850 estate and as I have lost the spare wheel well to the gas tank I am looking for a space saver spare wheel. If anybody has one for sale or has any info about where I can get one at a reasonable price (£220+vat from Volvo and that's just the wheel !!!!!) I would be grateful if they could let me know. Thanks. |

Yup, I've got one that's surplus to requirements, email me - address on my details - and we can agree a price and collection.

Hello
If you were to buy a bi-fuel Volvo S/V40 from the factory then you would find no spare wheel! What you do get is a jack and a can of tire foam/puncture repair!! You just jack up the car and spray the foam into the tyre - drive to a local garage and inflate it to the correct pressure. Continue driving and have the puncture fixed at the earliest opportunity. Regards Chris. |

Not much use if the tyre is severely damaged and won't retain the foam!

RE: Space saver spare wheel for 850
Hi, I had my 850 converted to gas a year ago. Had the Tartarini Etagas system fitted. How do you get on with yours. I have the doughnut tank in the spare wheel well too and just leave my spare lying in the back only leaving it out when I have to when I have to load right up.
