Default Magnus at 50

Magnus is back, on the road, with a brand new MOT 2 weeks after his 50th birthday!

Thanks to all of you who've helped with parts, advice and moral support this year.

Andy.

I'm a sucker for a happy ending...

Glad you've got Magnus back on the road where he belongs.

Yeah, happy days: 3 days back on the road and I have a knackered alternator - my 5th in 7 years....Why are so many parts rubbish?

Woodman;

Car looks great, and congrats on MOT...after correcting this minor setback with Alt, you will be able to enjoy it I'm sure...

I have to agree with previous poster...Bosch Alts typically are quite reliable and normally don't do not go bad with anywhere near a frequency you've experienced... when they go bad, do you install proper rebuilds, or a (well)used, unknown condition, 30A SEV Marshall that came out of scrapper?...and did it/do they go bad electrically, or mechanically? Do tell!

Cheers
