Wheels and tyres.

I have been lucky today and found in the local scrap yard a 240 GLT estate which came in yesterday. I got the 5 spoke alloys off it with tyres but they are all borderline on wear.

These are for my 1978 244DL.

So my question is, the new wheels are 15" with 195x60 and the old wheels are 14" with 175x14 on them, so what size of tyres and makes do people put on the 15".

Should I go for a 60 profile or a bog standard 195. Your comments would be appreciated.

Neil,
sorry for not contacting you i tried emailing but it failed twice,Ive been up to my eyes stripping the 244 due to a sudden house move.
Due to a bit of an accident i need to keep my spare set but at least youre sorted now anyway.
On my good GLT's i have 195 65 R15 Pirelli P6000's,great tyre for performance but bit costly and soft so best for big budget or occasionaly used car.
