Ok, that's sorted out but still if we talk about the numbers a turbocharger is producing into whatever engine, then nobody talks about numbers with adding vacuum into equasion, its all about the boost itself produces and not considering the pressure it needs to overcome cause the vacuum in engine.

Still i need to keep my eyes on the amount of boost it goes over zero on the gauge and that is this 1,1 bar you talked about while driving your car and 0,9 bar at the moment on my car?!

When people talk about the boost a turbo makes is the value above zero on your gauge.

I watched the link and of course that is true BUT it is not explaining the fact that the Boost Guage is a mechanical thingy.

I did notice the - on the figures which is what i am trying to explain.

An example using larger numbers if the guage says -10 at idle and you go onto boost the guage has to overcome the - figure to get on the + side of the guage and it can only do that by positive boost pressure.

So if at -10 and you want 20psi of boost for your motor then the guage will only read 10psi and not 20psi as it has to include the first - 10.

To get the guage from -10 to 0 it needs 10psi of boost.

So a lot of these cheap gauges are not calibrated properly ones and can be dangerous to the engine because the readings are incorrect.

Take one to pieces and see how it works and then you will see what i mean?

I had four guages before i bought the correct digital one which was accurate all the previous read to low.

Just trying to help.
