  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

i have a 1995 850 T5 auto and everytime i brake i get a small knock sound. it only passed the MOT 2 weeks ago so i know the brakes work ok but i am totally confused what could be causing this knock sound, any suggestions appreciated.

Can you hear the knock sound after you have applyied the brake slighty? If so then...

Last time I heard a knock sound was when I changed my wheels over and the bolt were not tight enough. Make sure you check all of your wheel bolts because this can be very dangerous to have them loose.

Other wise I am not sure.

had same problem on mine was a spring broken on handbrake in R/O/wheel (worth a look) gl ;0)
