Question

Hi, have just changed my iPhone 5 to a iPhone 7, connected fine, but volume is so quiet that it’s impossible to hold a conversation, it was fine on the iPhone 5, have turned up the volume on phone and car but it’s totally useless, also removed phone from car and reinstalled it, still totally useless, any ideas please

I’ve got the same problem. Brand new XC60 (old shape), iPhone 7 which worked perfectly with old (2012) Mondeo & SWMBOs C1.

I changed from a Samsung to an iphone and the volume was appallingly low both on streaming music and calls. I fixed it by when using that function (either on a call or streaming) to set the volume to max on the phone itself. That seems to have sorted it. It does appear that the phone remembers two volume settings - Bluetooth connected and when used in my hand.
