Default “Coolant low stop engine” fault on dash

So, after my 2003 D5 XC90 threw her fan belt tensioner, I replaced all the units required and since rebuilding I know have the above fault showing on the dash with the red triangle.
It will not clear from the information panel whilst the engine is running but will with just the ignition on.
I’ve read the vehicle several times with the Vida/Dice tool and cannot find anything with reference to coolant faults what so ever.
She rises to working temperature and stays there as she always did, the header tank is building good pressure still and there is no change in level to engine oil or vescocity.

I can only think that the sensor wash knocked when I released the header tank to see if I could gain a better top view but was replaced straight away as I could not. The sensor is showing on the Vida/dice tool and reading within the correct parameters and yes the coolant is topped up and fine.

Any ideas? TIA!

The sensor is plugged in under the tank on the top of the wing. If you pulled up the header tank then I would check that first of the float inside the tank was free to move by seeing if it goes up and down and then after that checking the plug and possibly unplugging it then plugging it back in.

Ah 💡! Was unaware of a float on the sensor, will check all that tomorrow in the light! Thanks for the heads up 👍
