Body/Trim: 850: - 850 saloon spoiler

Can someone tell me how the boot spoiler is mounted? Does it use bolts through the boot lid, or clamps around the lid edges? or is it glued?!

I'm thinking of fitting an 850 spoiler to my 940 saloon - and i haven't got one to examine.

you've got a clamp each end which clips around the edge & a sticky pad on the centre support, there are no hgoles drilled into the bootlid at all

i've just bought a boot spoiler for the t-5 from fleabay.

unfortunately the seller, in his infinite wisdom neglected to mention that the fixing brackets were actually missing !

so now my spoiler is as useless as a chocolate teapot !

does anyone have a spare pair of brackets, or alternatively a picture of them so i can fabricate my own ?

i've got a complete spoiler (with brackets & brake light) i've been trying to get rid of for ages now but only want to sell as a complete lot if your interested (£15 & p&p)

if not give us a couple of days & i'll post a pic up of the brackets for you

I think the brackets are about a tenner from volvo.

it'd be cool if they are a tenner !

i'll give them a phone & on tuesday & see what they say.

i've given the seller the chance to supply the missing brackets too, but having waited over a month for the thing to get here, my patience with him is wearing rather thin !
