Smile Volvo D5 Turbo

Hi Guys I’m reasonably new to the world Volvo having owned ours for only 6 months I’ve got a 05 plate V70 D5 163bhp model does anybody know what model of turbo is fitted to mine. I know it’s a Garrett but don’t know the model. As she’s done 210,000 and showing signs of leaking so the plan is to replace the core before anything else serious happens. Thanks for any advise given

I believe it is a Garrett GT20 VNT, part number 723167-5004S.

And when you replace the core, the turbo has to be calibrated, about £100 I think. Its not a case of simply changing the core.
