I'm unable to make or reply to PMs as Ive only just joined up - if anyone has asked about anything specific - please PM with your email.
The original plan was not to flog bits but to save them as spares but if theres anything I can help with then why not? |

If it's running without an engine warning light, you know the sensors are likely to be good, so save the MAF (near airbox and expensive), clutch sensor, and whatever else you can find. MAF won't be any good for your replacement car, but will have a resale value.

Brake position sensor on the servo is worth saving as they're over £100 new and are frequently the cause of cruise control not working.

I just reread this thread.
DEFINITELY pull the headlight buckets-the entire thing-both of them. They're glass and will sell readily. |

It came off quite easily. There was a thread on here from 2009 with a link. It just involved taking the gaiter out and then there was just a plastic lock ring. |

If you can relieve it of the driverside rear door central locking motor, I'd buy it as the one on mine has just died!

I'll definitely try not to break it while trying to remove it next weekend.
