Default How to Replace O2 Sensor for 2000 V40

I have an 2000 V40 and the ODB code scanner is throwing code showing that the O2 sensors (upstream and downstream) need to be replace. Does anyone have a detailed how to on how to do this?

I replaced mine and there is thread on it - if you have a dig/search there are a few other ones too.

Have you tried clearing the codes and seeing if they come up again in case it was a temporary issue? If both are coming up with errors perhaps your cat is faulty?

Which codes are you getting? Someone else may be a better guide on this...

Couple of points I recall -
1) you can remove them from under the car and if you have dainty fingers you can wiggle them out and replace without having to access them through the top of the car
2) they were rather expensive from the dealer - I don't think they make the original. I got a second hand one from ebay and its worked fine for a couple of years.
3) It was easy - defo do yourself - or take to tyre/exhaust place and they will change them over for you in minutes.
