New car coming next week!

The dealer has told me my new XC 90 R Design is being delivered on Saturday and will be ready for collection next week. That’s quite fast service as I only ordered at the end of January. Factory must be quiet this time of year!

Congrats! Yeah, delivery times vary, depending on the engine, equipment level, etc.

Most likely scenario is that the dealer already had an unsold "booked" production slot that he was able to modify the specification to your order.......

I had a call yesterday to say my car had arrived at dealers. I couldnt help myself but drive over to take a look and check it is all correct (thankfully it was). Now the looooooong wait until collection for me also next Weds.
Also good to bump into long-time member GJB while at the garage.

I know what you mean Volvocamper. I’m so tempted to call into the garage over the weekend and have a look at my car! Trouble is I think it will ruin the feeling when I pick it up next week. The annoying thing is I could have from Tuesday but I’m busy until Thursday!

Hi Volvocamper, I’m buying it from Donald’s in Ipswich. Nearest Volvo garage to me. Already have a trip planned to Bristol for the Easter weekend to see some friends.

Hi Desseardo, I have heard good reports of Donalds, hope all goes well for us both next week. Enjoy Bristol, not been there for a few years - looked over SS Gt Britain when we did.
