Exclamation (UK) 2007 SE D5 Windscreen Bottle Replacement Advice

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping other 2007 Series 2 C70 owners could offer their advice or where I can find the help I need.

Even though I've replaced my windscreen water bottle with clean water and screen wash, I'm still getting a dash message saying the washer bottle needs filling after 4 - 6 weeks even though I haven't used any, thus I'm of the opinion that the washer bottle has a hole, split/crack or a seal may have failed, but even though any of those is likely to be the culprit, having looked at the washer bottle location, it looks like it's fitted behind the engine bay under the grill and appears to be in a place that's inaceptable (unless anyone knows otherwise).

I could really use some advice or be pointed to where I can get the step-by-step 'how to' guide with diagrams and tools required if it can be done at home with appropriate sockets, screwdrivers and/or anything else and I'm sure I can find a used replacement bottle from evilBay, general or manufacturer specific salvage and breakers yards.

So, it's over to all 2006 - 2013 Series 2 C70 SE D5 owners, and TIA for your help, advice and/or anything else

You need to post in the correct forum for your car. This one deals with the Volvo soft top convertibles not the Ford based ones.
