Thanks for the information everyone. Having done a bit more research, a list of all the things that can be retrofited by volvo can be seen in the following link.

On top of those things already mentioned, it includes things such as the 12" tft screen, reversing camera, park assist and a few others.

Hi First post here! I have recently purchased 2017 V90 D5 R-Design. My previous car (A8) had front and rear parking sensors and a rear camera. I'm really missing them, especially the rear camera. How much did it cost to get the front sensors added? And you now have full park pilot? Do you find it useful?

Anyone had the rear camera retrofitted? Looks like a lot of labour time - just about every interior panel on one side of the car needs to come off. Wonder how much that would cost?

Parking pilot is a gimmick really, its not worth bothering with, and really not worth paying for, if you had it you would use it once or twice to try it out then give it up and never use it again.
Its much quicker and easier to park yourself.
The only thing it does is apply steering, you still need to control the stop and go pedals and the gear selector.
Guaranteed to get other drivers goats up as they wait for you to get parked using it.

I kind of thought that from what i have read.

Having had rear view camera I do miss that, but am getting used to not having it again. I would consider paying for camera, but i reckon it would cost more than £500 and i can think of better things to do with that sort of money.

I did get a great deal on a retractable cargo net.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-V90...rdt=true&rt=nc

£39 including delivery. Can't find the part number, but i'll go check if anyone interested.

I called the local dealer who told me it wouldn't fit, but i was sure it looked like it would, and at the price it was worth the risk.

It clips into slots below the luggage cover and both can be installed and the same time. It's really handy compared to installing a full dog guard.

I was allowed to have anything fitted to the car from the accessories catalogue on the understanding that they remain with the car when it is returned. I can work with that as it will be with me for 4 years.

My budget wouldn't extend to the smartphone integration as it pushed the list price over £40k, and it would have cost me many hundreds to add it at the factory due to the increased tax liability.

I had it fitted by my dealer on Thursday this week and it took only an hour while I waited. The cost was £350. I also had ordered a sunglasses holder to replace the drivers grab handle and they actually fitted that for me as well - and didn't charge me for it (which is good because I would have hated to pay for 2 screws!).

I have mudflaps on the list next, likely the £39.99 set on eBay that has been recommended in previous posts.

I also have spotted some little bits and pieces available from China. Door handle inserts to turn the handle gap into a pocket, inserts for the armrest etc are the most interesting. They also have carbon fibre or wooden covers for the keys that are less than the official items.

Hope that helps!
Hi, do you have a link to this mod, It drives me up the wall that there is no where to put sun glasses except in the main middle compartment, also is this for all models or model specific?

An XC90 has storage for sunglasses, etc, in a compartment below and to the right of the steering column. Does an XC60 not have this?

Try this eBay link - choice of colours as well.
