How strange that Volvo hasn't provided somewhere to store (sun)glasses as standard.

Here's what you're missing. (Sorry )

Is that what its for? It is rather big and deep for that but glasses will certainly fit in there. Personally its where I keep a stash of Gaviscon. Just in case.

There was a discussion about it over on Swedespeed. One guy said it's where he keeps his handgun. Only in America...

(Reminded me of a scene in the Steve Martin film 'LA Story' where one day per year they're allowed to shoot each other on the freeway.)

The eBay link provided is the correct part but I found my dealer was actually cheaper for the official item as they were only £47. I say only but the same accessory for my previous car was £17!!!

I remember back in 2007 buying a sunglasses holder for my V50. They weren't available in the UK, so had it shipped from Boston Volvo in Massachusetts.

I was wondering if they did one for the Xc60, but having only used the last one once I don't think I'll bother.

Does anybody know can the automatic release of the load cover be retrofitted? I have second hand V90 and it only have the manual/semi-auto cover.

By easiest it could be just replacing the latches with electronic ones and getting dealer to enable the option on software. Just would the harness have all the necessary wiring by default.

And here is where I get really ****ed off. I would love to have front parking sensors fitted and integrated with a graphical display and audio but I DO NOT WANT Park pilot as I’m able to park a car myself.

I’m gutted that Volvo will not fit front sensors without activating Park Pilot too. My dealer told me it’s £1200.

Not a chance. Are there any independents out there who might do just front sensors and be able to add the coding to integrate them without the self park??

That seems a bit rediculous seeing as the 2019 V90 comes with front and rear park assisr but not parking pilot. Sorry, I cant be of help with any other suggestions.
