Default V50 facelift items?

Hi all. Random question, I've noticed on the 2012 V50 there seems to have been a mini facelift with the larger badged front grill. Was this the only difference? Or was this a model specific grill? I have a 2008 which is the facelifted model but has the smaller badged grill.....quite like the larger badge!

Thanks!

You can swap one for the other. The shape of the grille didn't change.

Were there any other subtle changes they made apart from the grill?

Think the wing mirrors got ever so slightly larger but not much else to be honest.

The tear lights are slightly different and there were some minor interior tweaks. Wing mirror are a bit bigger and a slightly different shape. Front grill is black plastic instead of the chrome look. Front bumper is slightly different I think to accommodate the front end tweaks.

Emergency braking lights were brought in... in 2008 or 2009 I think??

That's when you brake hard over 50mph they'll flash or the hazards will flash.

They also spaced out the VOLVO lettering to V O L V O on the rear of the car in 2008 I think?

Are you all talking about the facelift circa 2008 or the one I mean circa 2012?

These ones were in-between but not the major facelift. For example you can find a facelifted car with non spaced VOLVO lettering on the back.

It's quite confusing. There's a 2010 v50 local to me that has the big badge on the grill on the front but the close together VOLVO on the rear. Maybe it was just a mishmash for a few years or he's replaced parts himself

It might be that someone fitted a later grille in that case?
