Can you help?
We were changing the abs ring on the cv joint of my 2001 2.4 V70AWD TSE yesterday and the drive shaft came right out. My friend and I were surprised no oil followed it and the end was quite dry. This leads me to suspect the front diff is is low on oil. But I cannot find how to drain/top this up. We have recently changed the oil in the transfer case but the diff is eluding us. Can anyone help please??

This is the wrong sub forum for your car but depending on how the vehicle is jacked up the oil could be sat away from the end of it. Theres normally a drain and fill hole on the gearbox and you should always make sure the fill plug isn't stuck before you remove the drain plug.
