  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

While my 2014 Ford Ranger has that light, thankfully way over towards the passenger on the dash [where it should be], my 2015 Honda C-RV doesn't have a light. Not that I've ever noticed anyhow.

You can shut the passenger seat airbag off on most cars, so that it then becomes safe to fit a child seat in the passenger seat.

I’m going to put of mat black gaffa tape over it.

No , it’s always on just above the rear view mirror.

See my post #10 it is an important valid safety warning to remind people putting a baby seat in the front seat to turn air bag off and to turn it back on again if no baby seat in the car, I suspect like me most people after intially starting the car and checking mirrors etc never consciously notice it after the intial checks. You get used to it. Taping over it is not a good idea.

It could well land you in court in the rare event something goes terribly wrong some day in the future when you have forgotten all about it ...
