Hi, I need two seat belt release buttons from the rear seat, they should release from the seatbelt by gently levering the tabs that hold them in place as in the image below. Hope you can help!

Think my 98 car has a different shape to that. More rounded

I am also trying to source some of these. I believe that the shape changed between 1992 (as in my car) and some time later in the 90s but not sure when. I believe that the later shape has more rounded corners. A while ago I stumbled across a US web site which advertised both patterns, but they were about £10.00 each and I haven’t been able find the site again.

I spotted these but a bit steep https://store.voluparts.com/1992-199...at-belt-latch/

Would it not be easier to replace the whole thing with one from a later car ?

Hi Griston64, the pic below shows the same button that I have, is it like yours? my 940 is a '97 so should be the same?

Skandix do have them so may well go down that route, I'll just have to buy a few more items to justify the shipping cost!

The same style seat belt's were fitted across several models in the Volvo range of the era (240/740/940/850 etc) so should be able to be found readily on various breakers. Just flip one out from a back seat as they are seldom degraded.
