Hi Dave,

How are we sorting out payment? Feel to email me: firstname@lastname.com where my last name is also my user name on here.

We don't get over to the UK very often. Saying that we were there last weekend for a bit of shopping in Southampton but of course we flew and had restrictions on luggage.

Definitely keen on the door cards so please see if you can get a rough idea on postage.

Cheers

André

PS. My email address doesn't have accents!

Andre - it's Mark that's selling the bits! Not me!

Check the units on the website Mark - it's listed on there as cm as the default - if you're like me and quote sizes in mm usually, if the size is like i siggested in my post above 90 x 60 x 20 cm and you've entered 900 x 600 x 200, it will read it as 9m x 6m x 2m.

Please don't ask me how i know this!

I did that Dave. Rough guess that the doorcards would be 80 x 70 x 50 and weigh around 8 kg

Use the drop-downs to select sending point, destination, type in the units and get the quote. ^^^^^

To give you both an idea, i just checked on the Parcelfarce website, to send a package 90 x 60 x 20cm, 8kg in weight would be about £31 at the cheapest from my mainland postcode to Guernsey. That's a rough guess based on my estimate of the size/weight of the door cards so although it could be wrong, gives you food for thought.

Interesting disparity in the thickness between your and my estimate Mark. My line of thought (without measuring the thickness of the door cards) is they are about 50mm deep each so 4 would be about 200mm/20cm but i'm not going outside to measure them now!

Perhaps with bubblewrap round them they might be nearer what you're suggesting?

*** EDIT *** While i remember it, the "Spruce Goose" landed about 230pm today, not had a chance to open it yet but that's next on my list! Thanks again!

Door cards are 90cm long 55cm high and 7cm thick

That's going to be a parcel not far off 100 x 60 x 30

Each card around a kilogram
