Steering column removal
I’m a rookie with an Amazon. Can you all tell me how to remove the steering column from the steering box?

The lower half of the steering column doesn’t come out of the steering box, unless you disassemble the steering box.
Why do you want to take it out? |

Coupler and horn wire
I viewed the video, thankyou Ron, which still leaves me with a question which I have had a long time: if the horn wire passes through the coupler on the steering shaft when you
turn the steering wheel why doesn't the horn wire torque. I assume it must bypass the shaft but how? Thanks when you have the time. Russ |

Russ;
Yes, the HornWire turns at Steering Wheel end and doesn't at St Box end. The approx 3 turns, lock to lock, is distributed over the length between Coupler and loop where HW exits St Box...it's easily able to survive this for a long time...but that's also why you shouldn't skimp on that loop when replacing the wire!
