Noisy steering
Hi all.
My new-to-me 940 makes quite a lot of noise when I start up and turn the steering hard, sort of hydraulic noises. And when you get to the lock stops it really squeals. Not ever so loud but noticeable. The steering works perfectly otherwise. Is it OK? Should I change the fluid or something? Any ideas? Regards, Mudhook |

Change of fluid may help - sounds like the oil is thick when you frst start up.

Had the same with my 940, really noisy reversing off the drive, hydraulic clunking noises. Changed the drive belt and had tracking done, not had a squeak since.

I agree, change the fluid and check/adjust the drivebelt.
