Paul;
Many variations exist, and without seeing the PN you are interested in...if (3) terminals are similarly located (and better yet, marked), there is a high probability it is a suitable replacement. See also: https://www.sw-em.com/Blinker_Relay_or_Element.htm Good Hunting |

Thanks Ron
The part number I have is the one above 664708 Just to check does the flasher relay just do the flashing and the hazard switch arrangement change the requirement for either signal flashers or hazard Flashers ? i.e the unit just does the flashing depending on requirement by the switch ? Thanks Paul |

Flasher is activated right and left by the stalk. The pull out hazard switch shorts the two sides together.

Great Thanks Derek so its just a flasher unit and as long as it can take the load of 2 or 4 signal lights going it should not matter ?
Can you confirm if the 3 pin unit in brookhouse is the correct one to order B664708? Please Paul |

My parts books are on the HD of my desktop PC which is currently in pieces. Someone else may be able to look it up but try and ring Brookhouse and ask about it. Yours looks to be made by SWF. They can also be Bosch, Hella or now days pretty generic and not expensive.

Paul;
As Derek mentions, both Directional Indicator flashing AND Emerg Flasher action is controlled by that one Blinker Element on 140 and injected 1800s. I just added the injected 1800 Wiring Diagram Excerpt for Directional Indicators to the tech notes. See: https://www.sw-em.com/Blinker_Relay_..._Injected_1800 Cheers |
