Volvo 262c for sale.
Hey guys,
First I have ever seen for sale with the updated face. Says 79. But is this not an 81 face? http://www.vandp.net/sales/1951/1979...upe-automatic/ Check the pics. Kind regards. |

Yes, lend me £28,000 tyvm. Give it back week Thursday. Most expensive 262 listing I have ever seen.
Also, regarding my year query, ad says 79 so 79 right? That plate being 262 could an personalized plate purchase. V is 79 if it is not. |

That car is a hotch pot. There is so much been modified, It is a 79 with roof covering removed, A-pillar joints filled, Arch trim removed and holes filled, Wrong bumpers and wings, ridiculous centre console, poor interior mods
I do recognise the car as one that got a lot of engine work not that long ago. I like the price though. |

oh!
So I am right - the body not matching the year?
How much can you modify the looks of the car before needing to tell DVLA? |

I think that, strictly, one is required to inform one's insurers of any modifications, no matter how minor. How many folk that are running around on non standard wheels, for example, have done that, I wonder? Regards, John.

I am still a junior member. Been here 14 years. I guess it is done on posts posted and not time served? What is my next rank and how many posts to get there? :-) |
