It should pull quite briskly up to 110 to 120 or so, and then significantly tail off and top out eventually in the mid 140s - your speedo may record this as 150+ of course.
If it is really tailing off at 150kph / 90MPH I'd suggest there is something amiss, either a boost leak, or very possibly the turbo control soleniod. My V70 T5 started going flat at 120,000 miles, with an odd surging feeling under acceleration sometimes, and that restored it. These LPT cars are much more about mid range driveability that top end hilarity of course.

My T5 pulled well all the way to 130mph on the sat nav screen - didn’t check speedo but imagine it would have been showing close to 140 - and then I had to back off due to traffic although I’m not sure if it felt like progress beyond 130 might’ve been slower... if yours is struggling to get to say 120mph then that doesn’t sound right as mine - albeit a lighter C30 - was very happy getting to that mark, it felt pretty effortless.
PS this genuinely was in Germany!

First of all, the C30 is as you say lighter. My car is not built for speed but rather entertainment also, so got a 12" subwoofer in the trunk. And my scenario took place with three (me and 2 others) in the car. So it does add up. |

Mine previously hit 160mph nicely before all the upgrades, so would be interesting to see how quickly it hits that now ... if not more.

I had to 'limp' my T5 back home (a 10 mile journey) over the weekend after I noticed it leaving a coolant trail all around the multi-story carpark I'd just pulled into.
Parking space was on a slant, so as I got out of the car I noticed a stream of fluid rolling away from my car and down towards the next car on the right. Car was staying there overnight anyway, so I came back the next day with a bottle of coolant, topped her up to max and then proceeded home, with Heater set to MAX heat and blower on full, changing gears at 1,500rpm to keep a much heat away from the engine as possible. It's actually the perfect car to limp home in this scenario because there is so much low end torque that I could put it into 6th gear at just 1,000rpm (around 35mph) and it will still pull if you try to. Made it out of the center of cheltenham by the time the engine temp got to the middle of the dial. Decided to take the motorway route so radiator could get max airflow with minimal RPMs to keep temp as low as poss. |

Mine does around 9 secs and it still holds to it so I ocasionally check this if in doubt of perfoermance. As for vmax - never got to it but from testing (in Germany ofc...) I noticed it goes happy and evenly to 200kmh, 200-220 is a bit sleepy and anything over 220 is a bit of struggle but still goes. its s1 stage but heavier than yours (estate + AWD) so I reckon could be comparable.

Sounds bad but I haven't even looked at it yet... been driving the D5 about instead. But given the car has 152,000 miles I assume it will be the T junction hose, but I really need to have a look soon.
Has a few things required for MOT end of sept.... need to pull the driveshaft and fit new CV boots on passenger side.... Need to resolder joint on LED brakelight as intermittently not working (darn volvo for changing these to LED on facelift), and I have a wheel bearing that is grumbling. So lots to do! |

yea, on that mileage its highly possible.
that T-pipe if burst I think would loose all your coolant onless its just cracked a bit, so if its only dribbles maybe its just expansion tank (easy and cheap fix). fingers crossed
