Default Park Brake Cable Retaining Clip at Pedal

Hello,

Can anyone tell me how the retaining clip works on the park Brake Cable at the pedal end as the cable keeps popping off when I release the brake.

Any images would be great.

Cheers

is the cable too slack ? The brake should hold on 2 clicks if all is well . The adjuster is on the cable behind the centre console side panel on the passenger side

Are you referring to the attached? I asked a few weeks back and got no answers - couldn’t work it out and ended up leaving it off. Being gentle when releasing the foot brake now by letting it come up gently with my foot when I release it to avoid the thud when it hits the rubber stopper... is ok so far (fingers crossed)
