Yes, it does. VIDA can be simply extended in P3 platform to MY2018:

Interesting, although it seems like a pain to get it to work on a Windows 10 machine. Maybe that's just me.

Have you seen/done this to prove it works piotrek?

The swedespeed hack is useful, but you need to remember it is not making VIDA compatible with post 2015 MY cars.

All it is doing is hacking the validation of the VIN number so it won't reject year codes after "F" (2015).

Although many things will obviously be the same between MY 15 and 16, if there are changes to parts or procedures for MY 16 then they will simply not be in the system and you won't know.

So, if you just want Parts and Procedures, you can get the same result with the standard VIDA 2014D and just enter in the model, engine etc. manually, entering 2015 for the year.

I might give the install a go then as there's bound to be loads of crossover and useful information.

I'll have another word with cheshired5 for the procedure.

The US dealers have online access to parts diagrams. The main downside for us in europe is lack of diesel engines but just about everything else is the same (towbar systems are different too). Very usefull for part nos. and rough estimate of cost, eg:

There is a company in Germany where you can link into most european cars parts diagrams, which I can’t recall for the moment, but you have to make an account (free) but you do end up with lots of junk mail every time you sign in.

Cheers for that, much appreciated.

I've actually got VIDA installed now but it's always good to have further resources!

Still not managed to get the visor fixed yet . . . .
