V40 14 Audio - Can't operate with ignition off
According to my manual, I should be able to operate my radio/player for 15 min after removing the key i,e, when waiting outside a shop! On my car this doesn't work despite following the instructions. I continue to get "will shut off after 2 mins" and it does!
Am I missing something? |

Hello. You may find the duration of time is related to the state of battery charge. If fully charged you may get longer.Accessing the on board instruction manual is even worse.....the system shuts down as you read the article unless you are quick. All this to prevent a flat battery as the infotainment system uses lot of power.A few minutes running engine when message comes up usually helps prolong sound system usage time.Hope this helps.

Audio - can't operate with ignition off
That's certainly a possibility but I get the 2min warning even after a long drive and no low battery notification. It seems hell bent on switching off!
Thanks anyway. |

I think if you press "EXIT" the radio stays on but after a few minutes you will probably get a "Low battery charge" warning.
