Default alternator bracket fracture

after hearing excess rattling from engine bay I noticed a fracture on the alternator bracket . holds power steering pump alternator and aircon .
I replaced it Tuesday . opened the bonnet today to see the new one has broken too . has anyone had this happen ?

Sounds like your accessory belt is too tight or something isn't aligned properly

this is what I was thinking. its self tensioning . I switched on the aircon the first time in a while . wondering does that have anything to do with it
