Driver display should start up with an R-Design animation if it was.
That's a lot of driving in a short time. Did the car have Pilot Assist? If so, did you use it?

It did have the Gloss black mirrors, R-Design grill, "metal" inserts on the dashboard, chyarcoal interior and supportive R-Design like seats (without the decals). Yes, it had Pilot Assist and we used it for many hundred miles - it was excellant and worked flawlessly. In fairness, the Adaptive Cruise Control was also excellant and we used that when the roads didn't have white lines on either side (basically, the non-Dual carriageway/Motorway sections). The ACC really came into its own on the 135 mile ish average speed camera A9 from Inverness down to Perth and then onto Dunblane. Keeping to the limit normally would have been a PITA - using technology made it a doddle. p.s I've just done a fake insurance quote for the car that I hired and it is a "2020 VOLVO XC60 R-DESIGN B4 MHEV AWD". Compared to my V90 R-D+, it was much blander - it didn't even have a R-D badge on the back ! Last edited by Mint Cake; Jun 25th, 2021 at 14:37. |
