Default Gremlins galore!!

One of my favourite faults... intermittent wtf faults!
My wife's 07 plate s40 has pretty much freaked it's tits. Wipers on whenever they decide, indicarors mimicking a bmw, srs lighr making like an xmas tree on acid.
Am I looking at a fault in the rain sensor or ecu?

Will not for love nor money fo it for me! Only when I'm at work 😂😂🙈

You need to post in the relevant forum. This only deals with the original classic S/V40 upto 2004

weak voltage can throw up all kinds of electrical gremlins how old is your battery and what is its voltage.if you look in the section for later cars there are lots of posts on these kinds of problems as they can be common on this platform v50 s40 c30 c70 ect many share components so part can be sourced easy

For one moment there, i thought that one of our old X40s had serious reliability problems.
Relieved to see it's one of the newer generation (ford) volvo's
