the intention of the list was not scare mongering . if they are not up to the test a remap will kill them.

Yeah metrx, it's lovely down there. Grew up down south west, went to uni in Exeter....just a shame there is not much work down there for me! Exeter and Plymouth getting better though - more industries moving away from the south east and setting up. Give it a few years and I may well make the move! In the mean time I am very lucky that my parents live in thurlestone (near kingsbridge) so try make it down there at least twice a month. It's quite a quick journey down the m4-5 if you time it right!

Torquay is good for a night out too! Spent many a good night out there (remember there was a club by a slipway called route 66 where it was all you can drink for £5 on a Wednesday). old friends live not far away in scabbot (Newton Abbott) - some bloody great cider down there!

route was as rough as ar$eholes!

all you can drink + carpeted floors = not a good mix.

should be down there for a few weeks early june, might catch you out on the water.

That's the one yeah not a very family friendly place to say the least! Yeah you never know may catch you out there! It's a small world. My boat is called "Lucy" (after my daughter) and is most probably now covered in seagul poo!! Got two of those twirly things, and made up a fishing line with cd's on to scare the buggers away. Hope that does the trick!

all you need is 2x beach balls and some net.

throw the net loosley over the deck, beach balls under.

the wind blows the balls around, which keeps the net moving....birds dont/cant sit on it... DONE!

That sounds like a very good idea!!!! Hoping to get a boat cover for it at some point but as I am sure you know too well keeping a boat on the water is expensive so i have to save up a little first!

Saving up for one of these

Just searching for how well/bad a Volvo v70 will launch/retrieve a boat on a slipway and noticed Route 66!!

Sunday afternoon was any drink for 99p it was very messy and the carpet was sticking to my feet due to the ongoing carnage. Happy days! 😂
