No symptoms at the moment, i know from a the bills i got with the car that the alternator hasn't been changed, and as the car is 2008 i expect it will go sooner or later. i'm going to York this weekend and just wanted to know if it was healthy. Thanks for your information i feel more confident for this trip

Alternator changing on a volvo is something VERY rare ...
The ford engines are a different kettle of fish :-)

Hi, Just incase anyone is interested. I did 485 mls last weekend on my trip, and used 2 fill ups of LPG. Total cost £65.00 And in-between fill ups i used Petrol, i toped off the petrol tank after the last fill up of LPG, the cost was £11.30.
I am comfortable with that.

The cost of the LPG at ASDA just outside York was .52p ltr and in London .78p ltr

Also I really enjoyed driving it, very smooth engine, lots of power if needed when overtaking. Ian

Out of curiosity Ian, which was 'sacrificed' in the case of the conversation fitted to your vehicle; spare wheel or some boot space?

There is a tank where the spare would have been
