I rather suspect we'll see it again soon, we normally do with grossly overpriced vehicles.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324822450...53.m1438.l2649 PS. His boat has not raised much interest either. It didn't get any bids for a couple of days when it was at a 99p start price, so the seller's response was to raise the start price to £200 - and the result has been: still no bids; perhaps that is a cunning marketing ploy (but if it is then it is beyond my understanding): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324823993...53.m1438.l2649

Yes indeed :-)
I don't know much about worthless old boats, but I thought the original 99p starting price was a little bit steep.

Looking at the state of that boat, i don't think it's even worth 99p as firewood!

Is This a Scam?
I wonder whether anyone has come across this seller previously; is this ad a scam?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174980699742?hash=item28bda9965e:gIQAAOSwi5tha1L J ... the seller appears to have 1,602 items for sale, all sorts of vehicles (motor cars, motorcycles, boats, ice cream vans...). They all have the same style: a single (often very poor) photo, a graphic with a contact phone number and the same description, the same end time and mostly about the same price (£1,000 to £2,000). It is a bit hard to believe this seller would really let a 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet go for £1,900, or a lovely 1976 T160 Trident for exactly the same price - so I rather suspect this is some sort of scam (maybe money laundering, maybe fraud?) and that the seller has somehow falsified the eBay record. Does anyone know? Alan
