A noise on full lock could be dry steering lock stops. Apply grease and the noise should go.

I took it to a garage and the mechanic came out with me I couldn't hear the noise we did a drive for a while. No noise he got out of the vehicle whilst he stood and listened whilst I drove past. So went back home. The same thing happens usually after I be driving for some time, a while ago the TRACS light came on for a while but went off, it feels more like the ABS is trying to activate it's very subtle , could it be a ABS sensor or unit at fault?

I would ask your garage to put the car on the lift and check the ABS reluctor rings on the outer CV joints corrosion swells up the joint and the reluctor rings crack I had this on my v70r the ring was moving on the CV so gave a fault similar to the abs coming in but wasn't enough to store a fault code in the abs module the reluctor rings are available online and are pretty easy to replace I decided to replace both complete outer CV joints as one of the gaiters had a slight split and the car was tuned I got them from my local factors for about £25 quid each and they came with the reluctor rings already pressed on replacement gaiters clips and grease
