New car collection

Took delivery of my new car this morning, a stunning 2022my XC60 B5 Petrol Inscription in denim blue. Previous car was 2013my XC60 R Design Lux Nav which served me extremely well. From time of order to collection was exactly 5 months pretty good I thought. New car is in a totally different league, so much more comfort and extremely advanced technology, I’m totally thrilled with it. A big shout out must go to all the team at Caffyns Volvo Eastbourne for a first class service. Been going there for the past 20 odd years weather be for maintenance or car purchases and there level of service is excellent.

Picking up a XC60 B5 R Design in Demin Blue this afternoon.

Had the 2020 equivalent car on extended test drive a couple of years ago so will be interesting to see the comparison.

Exactly the same dealer I bought mine from back in 2017.
Same spec and colour with a T5 engine.

Had the car for a week now and totally thrilled to bits with it. Took it to a local detailer ( Touch of gloss near Hailsham East Sussex ) last week an had a ceramic coating applied to the exterior and full interior treatment. Must say it looks totally stunning, so shiny. Not the cheapest thing to have done but in my opinion for a car that costs getting on for 50 grand it’s totally worth it. I tried to attach a couple of pictures but for some reason it won’t let me do it. Anyone collecting their new car this week enjoy!

It usually rejects pictures if the file size is too large, if you reduce the photo size they should upload ok. Happy to hear all went well and you are pleased with your new car.
