2015 V70 T6 - Location of Engine Number

Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of importing a V70 T6 (2015 model) - it's due to arrive in the UK in 10 days which is quite exciting. As it's less than 10 years old I have to take it for an IVA (independent Vehicle Assessment) - one of the questions asks where the Engine Number is located, and what the engine number is.

So - first can someone tell me where the number is stamped on the engine. Secondly - I don't have the engine number, but I do have the VIN, is there any way of looking up the engine number through the VIN?

Volvo should be able to tell you the engine number from the VIN. They attributed both!
