  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Just remembered that aeons ago we used to add meths to the washer bottle. It added a certain something to the aroma in the cabin. With hindsight I don't know how long it would have remained effective - not long I suspect.

I can confirm i had problems with cheap washer fluid it was too concentrated i think.
It can leave a pretty nasty water mark on paint and i had to polish it out once. Also it can damage the plastic of the headlights.

Now i use only premixed Motul fluid and have no issue at all. The cleaning ability is also very good!

I suspect the supermarket stuff isn't that powerful then, as that's not something I've had happen. It says "Use neat for protection down to -15C" or somesuch on it.

Ah, if it says on the bottle ok to use neat that's different, however a good concentrate left on paint can at the very least stain the paint.
