After shopping while holidaying in France, I thought it strange when unpacking that the 2l of milt that I thought I had bought wasn't in the shopping bag.
Then parked my car in long term airport parking for 3 weeks - the hottest in memory. Thought the parking attendant was unusually hasty in getting me to sign the release form. You guessed it - the milk had slipped under the driver's seat and was now Camembert. My kids re-christened the car the vomit comet. Given the seat has an airbag and the main vehicle electronics are mounted there, I had the Volvo dealer remove the carpets. Trying to clean them turned out to be a waste of time & money. Replacement rear & driver carpets amounted to ~£500 on top of a similar amount for the removal & reinstallation. That's how one gets to cry over spilt milk. |

Commiserations. £250/litre makes for pretty expensive milk.
![]() Our old Berlingo had two useful little cubby-holes in the rear passenger footwells. When a strange smell came along, getting worse every day, I eventually found half a dozen eggs that had been stowed there weeks before. Neither of us will admit to the deed though.
