Hi,
Hoping someone will offer some words of wisdom. I have just purchased the above and have the continuous 'battery Charging' warning in the Start/Stop menu which makes Start/Stop unavailable. I would like to check to see if the battery is the original Volvo installed but I cant seem to remove the black plastic cover which sits above the battery. I believe this is a Pre-fuse box but happy to be corrected. I have attached a picture taken from the forum - is it just a case of removing the two torx bolts to lift away or are there any clips. Many Thanks in advance Barry v40Battery.JPG |

It will be the support battery that needs replacing. It lives just below the main battery.
You need to remove the front bumper to access it. Not a particularly difficult job perhaps just a little fiddly |
