Certainly a relief as I wasn't relishing the prospect of a £1000 service and 5 years seems far too early to change belts unless being used in some fairly extreme conditions.
cambelt is 10 years or 90000 miles which ever comes first

Had mine done at 6y4m years and 99660k.
Previous owner should of had the cambelt done a year earlier at the 90k service according to my dealership.
Volvo's online service booking seems to think it's that it needs doing now the car is at 104k and selects the £1200 service. So i have to change the service request settings/options.

I've always been curious about these belts (for what it's worth I had mine changed yesterday as the car - a 19 reg - is about to hit 90k, I had it done at an independent specialist for £498)

I get that the rubber deteriorates with time and therefore the 10 year recommendation, but I can't see a reason why a belt that is only 3 years old but has run for 90000 miles should be deteriorated at all - the pulleys are not sharp, the belt doesn't wear down like a V belt would. If it was going to wear through the process of being used, it would have worn out way before 90000 miles.

It all seems rather arbitrary as I'm sure the earlier cars with the same engine were supposed to be OK until well over 100k.

The Cam belt change interval was 150,000 miles or 10 years which ever comes first.

Volvo then issued a bulletin round about 2017 to reduce the change MILEAGE on all these VEA engines to 90.000 after some problems with Emergency services vehicles. It wasn't a big problem , those cars are on the road 24 hours a day and most times driven very hard with hundreds of starts a day , the start up puts the biggest strain on the belt. The average user will most likely be fine up to 150,000 miles but better be safe than sorry. The belts don't deteriorate visibly and they are not rubber, the ones I have taken off at 150,000 miles look perfect with no "wear" visible, as they should be of course..
