My wife said ask them if they have anything interesting in showroom.
They had a XC70D3 AWD SE LUX GEARTRONIC (DIESEL) AUTOMATIC with 20,000 miles on clock just arived and they had not had time to put it on web site yet.
I asked price and went down to try it
made a deal with my v70 as part x and brought it home on Monday 10th Oct.

running well so far so good

Thanks for your help guys was very useful.

Arh I saw this on there social media post! I got my S80 from them and from the same sales guy just before you got yours. Mine only had 32,000 on. Nice people to deal with!

They are good to deal with.
I had the XC70 for 7 days , really heavy rain , went for a drive and my wife noticed she was being dripped on from top of windscreen.
I took her home and went straight back to volvo dealership.
the service dept couldn't have been more helpful.
Immediately sent a mechanic out to examine car, said windscreen needed rebonding. ( it had not been leaking when stood outside overnight at home, only happened when driving )
They organised for an outside specialist to come and re seal screen, lent me a demonstrator car for the day ( I paid the £15 insurance cover) and rang me when ready to pick up my car.
No charge .
Good service and another satisfied customer.
I hadn't realised how heavy the steering had got on my previous V70 D5 until I began driving the XC70.

I've heard of one killing the other before. Interesting. I wonder how that happens, since according to the wiring diagram, they aren't even parts of the same CAN network.
The PBM is connected to the high speed CAN bus, but the PAM runs on the lower speed CAN bus.
