Body differences between 2-door and 4-door?
Is the 122s 2-door a true coupe with a roofline that slopes more than that of the 4-door, thereby reducing headroom somewhat for rear seat passengers?
Is the distance between wheel arches on one side of the car the same for the 2-door and the 4-door? Thanks, -Ken |

Not a go to authority on this, but to my knowledge, the two door is not a true coupe and the wheel arches are the same distance on both the 2-door and 4-door cars. I’m sure our friends across the Atlantic will correct or confirm in the morning!

Yes, not a true coupe. Wheelbase is the same for both. Years ago, don't know if it is still about, a Swedish owner repaired his crashed car and made it into a 2 door one side and 4 door the other. Parts availability made it a good choice as the car was being used as a taxi. Was run for years like that.
