I don't know if this is related but I have 2 codes in the DTC
021 097 Any idea what they mean ? Doing a quick search I think I found 097 is excess engine oil. Which I think could be true as seems high on dipstick ,will check again when cold and level . This Volvo journey has not started well so far !! Really hope I can get everything sorted without breaking the bank !! Other than the technical issues, the car is immaculate inside and out so would really like to keep it, But don't want a money pit, Fingers crossed for Monday's quote

Excess engine oil warning is a common problem when the car has been through the hands of a non Volvo specialist that doesn't know that Volvo reduced the engine oil fill to 75% and the electronic oil level gauge has to be reset to show 75% as being full. Just working to the old dipstick will overfill the sump and the electronic gauge will report over full. This change was made because aborted DPF regenerations could put diesel into the oil sump and raise the level, so they lowered the level to allow for it if it occurred. Anyone not knowing this might well fill the oil to the high mark on the dipstick and the electronics would register an overfilled sump. If there was no diesel flow back this wouldn't be a real problem as the car would have the oil it had before the problem was realised but if on top of that the regen dumped diesel in the sump you would have a real overfill and risk engine damage.

Cheers, just had a look, Only stickers there were Cambelt change 2021 A sticker about type of oil ( recommending Castrol ) but no mention of the 75% thing. And I think an air con sticker, compressor was replaced in 2019 .
