Default 2007 V70 Electrical Issues

Hi All,

New Volvo owner (Old car, new to me!), love it but have recently experienced what I think are electrical issues! I will try to bullet point what has happened so its easier to follow.

- Purchased car with 3 month warranty in Oct
- Tow bar fitted by reputable local company
- Drove car, came back and it wouldn't start with a load of errors inc ...
Charging faliure - Service urgent
Transmission service required
Immobilizer See manual
DSTC Service required
Coolant system Service required
- Garage picked it up, had it a few weeks and said they had sent ECU off for 2-5 day turn around.
- Got it back yesterday, went to petrol station and the same thing happened but it did start after 20 mins or so.
- Garage is claiming issue with tow bar as a way of not doing anything under warranty
- Tested across battery when car started and warmed up, 11.9V - Alternator?

Any advice greatly welcomed.

Thanks,

David

Multiple non associated error messages is often a side effect of low battery charge.

That's my thinking. Lots of little journeys recently, low battery / alternator causing odd errors. I'm no expert though!
