Default P1800 worn ignition key

The ignition key for my car is pretty worn.
I think it would be advisable to get a replacement soon.
Any recommendations for best source of Wilmott Breedon FS series keys?

A shoe repairer that does car keys should be able to supply and cut.
ASSA - Blank Silca ASS98
NIEMAN - Blanks Silca NE10 / CEA - NM3 / Taylor V77
Check eBay for the small keys already cut.
Wilmott Breedon FS are usually for doors and boot. Petrol flap may be FP.

I bought a couple of these blanks and had them cut to match my original key. They were a perfect match http://www.keytrader.co.uk/Vehicle-K...Key-Blank.html

It is Derek, I was just quoting a cheap source for them. My local key cutter couldn't supply one to match so I had to get it myself.
That said there were two different ignition barrels for the 1800, I think these will only fit the later ones - 65-69.

eBay should show suppliers of the FS keys:~
Some sold with the key number if you have it.
These are used on many classic cars.
Bob.

The 2 barrels are probably ASSA (early) and Neiman. I think ASSA ones have that stamped on the visible face and Nieman don't.
I had bought blanks, possibly from the site you quote. Took them into the shop and he reached round behind him and took the same one off a hook. Cheaper! He had a thick catalogue of keys but had to order a couple in when I took another key in. Took a couple of days.
Beware that when copying from an old key the new one may not work. That can be down to wear on the old one. Recutting it or a rub around with a miniature file usually fixes it. New cuts can be sharp and you don't want that.
